  • Oniris

    Oniris (Nantes-Atlantic National College of Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Engineering), France, runs a training programme based on the “One world, One health” concept:

    2nd-year Master’s MAN-IMAL – “Man-Animal-Food Health: Transdisciplinary Management of Global Health and Nutritional Safety”

    The training is aimed at those with a medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, life sciences, food-processing and agricultural. (The pluridisciplinary balance is assured by selective student screening during application process)

    This innovative programme has been developed in partnership by:

    • Oniris, the Nantes-Atlantic National College of Veterinary Medicine, Food Science and Engineering,
    • The Faculties of Medicine in Nantes and Angers,
    • The ESA Group (The Angers Higher Education Institute of Agriculture).

  • Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM)

    The Institute of Tropical Medicine (Belgium) run a range of  ‘advanced study programmes’: doctoral and master’s programmes, postgraduate courses and short specialization courses as part of lifelong learning. Some of the programmes are offered via the Internet (distance learning).

  • Field Epidemiology Training Program

    The Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) and the Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program (FELTP), which offers an added laboratory component, are applied epidemiology programs offered by CDC to help foreign countries develop, set up, and implement dynamic public health strategies to improve and strengthen their public health system and infrastructure.

  • OH-NEXTGEN

    OH-NEXTGEN will be a unique and sustainable web-based training programme that would equate to diploma level in neglected zoonotic diseases based on the “One Health” concept to contribute to research development and improved control of zoonoses in Africa.

    Its target audience are the post-graduate and post-doctorate communities of medical and veterinary scientists in the Maghreb and Sahel regions. The course will be delivered in modular form and will be made available in both French and English. It will be integrated in the tropED platform and credits will be quality assured so that they will be valid for inclusion in other MSc, PhD and continuing professional development (CPD) purposes.
